I recieved this in my email today. Normally I wouldn't post anything here other than my own thoughts and such, but this is an incredibly eloquent, insightful and important letter. it is tragically not surprising that it got no coverage. the media are a big part of the problem, the reason why Bush's people can say "well, we don't believe these statistics apply to most americans" because *this* sort of stuff goes unrecorded. major public officials resigning, ashamed of their country instead of their lewd behaviour? that is such a warning sign. US is making itself into a laughing stock of the world, making its people miserable in the long run. best of luck to the "common man," or the uncommon perhaps, to get everyone out of this a.s.a.p. because the guys with their fingers on the buttons are too busy being scared shitless of each other to help save humanity.
Ok, so I've never written a journal before...this should be an interesting challenge. I love to write, but I've never found it necissary to write about myself, so I never bothered.
