This is great, after 3 weeks with shitty slow internet access I have finally tapped into some DSL on the road so I can get some shit done. Unfortunately it's 5 in the morning in Birmingham AL and I'm tired as hell. Stormy's new set fired me up though. Shit, I'm horny as hell and I can't wait to get back to my girl. One more week and then I get to see her and play with Dead Moon in San Diego all in the same night. Then it's off for the always bad ass Vegas show at the Double Down, then Reno then home. Tonight in B-ham was fantastic as expected; this is the only town other than Vegas that I know of where tons of people are out partying at 3 in the morning on a fuckin' Tuesday. Even the cop that hangs around outside the club busting drunks and shit was a cool guy. Tomorrow (well, today I guess) we're off to Memphis, then New Orleans before tearing up Texas. Even though the beginning of the trip seems like ages ago the whole thing seems like it's moving really fast.
I never got to mention Mike Watt. His band was cool as hell, liked us a lot and said a bunch of cool shit about us on Watt's website. I was stuck shilling merch and didn't get to meet Watt, which sucked, but chatted a bunch with the rest of the band and those guys are kick ass. Too much cool shit on this trip, man. Touring rules.
