So Monday morning I was supposed to leave with my parents and my girl for a fun filled week in Maui.

But today my stepdad's father died.

So intead of spending my 30th birthday and our 10 year anniversary passed out on some beach in Hawaii, I'll probably be going to a funeral.

I'm really sorry to hear that. It's technically Wednesday now so my words are belated, but Maui will always be there. Well, unless a volcano erupts in hawaii and covers the island. Even then, I suppose that will just make it bigger.

I'm rambling.
