RVA all the way
There are so many meatheads here. There were a shitload of fights ranging from Muay Thai to kickboxing to MMA and there was a lot of blood, a lot of kicks ot the nuts (by accident), a lot of sweat, quite a few tkos, a lot of nerves, and a lot of jacked up crazy people who can fight. It was cool. The MMA fights were brutal because they don't wear any gear. In my division, we still wear some protective gear which is annoying. I'd rather not wear the shinguards.
My gym had 14 people fighting:
G won his fight, broke the guy's rib I think
J. won his fight
E. lost his fight
T won his first fight but had to fght a second fight today and lost, tko in the 1st round. He was a little loopy
C won against D (both from 5 Points)
N lost against her girl
A lost tko'd in the 2nd round
K lost her fight
E, S, K, J didn't fight yet.
I'm getting nervous for tomorrow. Rematch and Danika is a tough opponent. I remember thinking about just plowing through this Kaite today. I thought to myself that I just wanted to fuck her up and knee the hell out of her and I did just that.
I have to say that was the best fucking feeling in the world getting a win in 1 minute. It was awesome. I don't see it happen often in women's fights so I'm still on a high.
Tomorrow tomorrow...oooohhhhh nervous!!!! 9 a.m. we're supposed to get to the venue and hopefully the fights will start by 10 a.m. I'm not sure when we're fighting.
I feel okay, a little stiff...but we'll see.
