At the intersection to the road leading up to my parents' house, I saw the aftermath of an accident. Somehow, a red jeep had flipped onto the driver's side. There was another car pulled off on the should but it didn't seem to have sustained much damage. Perhaps it was a near miss incident. There were quite a few cops and some chunks of the jeep in the road. Scary!
My spring school rotations have been assigned:
Internal Medicine I is at Bellevue with Miss RP. Her nickname is Rhoda-Rooter. She's sort of hot in a pointy anime way. I think she could use a little more meat on her bones...she lost a lot of weight.
Internal Medicine II is at St. Luke's Roosevelt with Dr. Najib. She's awesome. I've heard really great things about her plus the commute will be easy - take the 2 to the 1 to 59th. Plus it's directly across from John Jay College so I can skip over to my Krav Maga lessons right after I'm done for the day. Fuck yeah.
Ambulatory II is at Brooklyn College right across the street from Long Island University - Brooklyn College campus. That means I only have a 20 minute commute. Even more fricking awesome. And the trip to the gym is only 5 minute off the N or Q lines.
And my Drug Information rotation is at the school - rock. I like how the remainder of my sites for the semester have worked out - I requested most of them as my top choices and I got them

My next site is on Grand Street a few blocks from 5 Points Fitness.....don't you like how I planned a lot of these sites not only for the professors but for the convenience to my gyms? I'm such a dork.
As for Thomson PDR - it's cool. A lot of sitting on my ass and wondering why my butt hurts. But it looks great for my CV because I get to write a bunch of stuff like:
1) An addendum letter advising doctors of a new drug called Zolinza for treatment of refractory skin cancer
2) An addendum letter advising doctors of a new indication for Avandaryl as primary treatment of diabetes along with diet and exercise.
3) A New Brief blurb on Allegra oral suspension for kids for the Monthly Prescribing Guide
4) A New Drug monograph (full page or or 1.5 pages in the Monthly Prescribing Guide) for Januvia, a new class of anti-diabetes drug.
I also get to write 3 new New Drug monographs for the MPG in the next few days on top of updating PDR Concise electronic database.
Ok, enough of the boring shit. I'm going to the Burlesque show on Sunday
