Okay....so....I should be sleeping....
My body is achy from too much kneeling, and the purpose has been laying down flooring, molding, adjusting it, etc.
After a certain point each night, its too late to make noise without harm from the neighbors...
and that's when I settle into the joy that has been watching the NBA finals
As much as a complete and utter 4 streak game blow-out would have been amazing, these actually made for good games to watch, so I can deal with a couple of wins from the west coasters.
I am happy as hell, but sad that I am not in Boston, in a bar, singing and drinking beer with friends (or newly made best friends).
I think I'll check out Make Music NY this weekend as it's free, I'm here, and I need to seriously make up for missing pride this year (I'll be away for work ).
In other events this weekend, the Mermaid Parade is happening (http://www.coneyisland.com/mermaid.shtml) on Saturday. I'm bouncing like a perky bunny, but I think I'll end up alone because it might scare the hell out of my friends. We'll see.
