Good things: I have had two good weekends in a row. Whoo.
Last weekend was Beantown. Hanging with a new crowd of gay boys (my good friend seems to need at least one in her life at all times) and hitting up my friends' Dirty South Party. Also, there was a sale at Fluevog.
Despite adorning myself in Rocca wear, including obnoxious glasses, I still was told I looked like a raver.
I apparently decided to give my ass top-billing in this shot. I have no idea why I'm making a peace sign. It was that kind of party.
This weekend was the Siren music festival. After a long night out in the city, I didn't make it home before heading to Coney Island. Unfortunately, this also means that I was without a camera. I also had to make a stop-off of the D line to find some shorts and scarf down a churro and some coffee. it's a good thing I did, because when I got back on the train, in turned out that the woman sitting next to me was able to get me into the VIP are of the festival. Granted, this is a free festival. But it was made that much sweeter for me by the free drinks, random freebies, uber-up-close viewing location, and awesome people I met all day. Everyone went apeshit during M.IA., We Are Scientists were quite good, the lead from the Noisettes is gorgeous, and the New York Dolls are not dead yet. Also, if you like the Decemberists, you may like Elvis Perkins.
I then was picked up by a random guy who turned out to be a cop. I scored some free hot dogs and lemonade at Nathans before I nicely explained to him that I had to pull a Cinderella and head home.
The "bad" thing: I'm not sure if it's that I'm just not attracted to the people going after me, or if I'm just in an asexual mood, but I have all this accessible booty....and I'm not wanting any part of it.

Is Fluevog a shoe store I Harvard Square??? I think I almost bought a pair of great shoes there once...I think, I thought!
