So I DL'd Kriss Kross's "Jump Jump" today, and I must say, that brings back loads of memories of when hip-hop was actually good. Those were the days.
I made a really kick ass meal tonight that I knabbed from the Caribbean issue of Bon Appetit: Grouper with ginger and passion fruit sauce (except I didn't use grouper, I decided to use monkfish instead because I like it more and I got it for free). I think I'll keep that recipe on hand from now on. It rocked.
Oh yea, I also made some chocolate truffles for my work buddies and ma. I used a Earl Grey tea infusion for one, and a burnt caramel infusion for the other. They both tasted really nice, but I liked the Earl Grey better. It was pretty rich.
What else...oh yea...I'm heading back home for vaca. My plans are to eat a lot, catch up on sleep, hit the beach, camp, fish, ride, and....well eat some more. I don't care which order they happen in..just as long as they all happen. Welp, time to go to bed. Goodnight!
