Rolling through the hood to find the boys
Kick dust and cuss crank up some noise
Police on my drawers I have to pause
40 ounce in my lap and it's freezing my balls
The last week and a half is going down as one of the most random and stressful I can remember ever having. If it wasnt for the single silver lining, I would be a trembling heap of broken nerves and crushed dreams cowering in a damp corner. So lets begin this roller coaster
Snow White, and Crash Crash:
Delving into the tidbits of information left behind from my former roommate Ive learned that he was doing coke, had a recent DUI, and is facing the possibility of prison time for hate crimes. Despite this, and stacks of incriminating information, my property manager will not clear his name from my lease. Nor do they think its necessary to change my deadbolt. Finding this letter while throwing his overdue bills, and collection notices in the dumpster did put a smile on my face though.
Tuesday evening my new car was rear ended at 40mph. while driving home from work. The guy wasnt very apologetic, and could only complain about messing up his 1978 grey primer piece of shit. The back of my car is pretty well destroyed, and judging from the pain, my spine didnt seem to fare much better.
One friend got thrown in jail on false charges induced by a nicotine deprive bi-polar mother. Another friends girl is pregnant, and has conveniently not told him for three months. And my love blind brother is now talking about renting a house with his crazy girlfriend who openly hates my entire family.
With the roommate gone, and other business related drama, Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that Im going to have to stay in Sacramento one more year. And Im not going to be able to start school as Id planned in spring.
The Silver Lining:
I got an e-mail last night confirming that Im going to Berlin for 10 days in November to start shooting my next film project. Ive been crossing my fingers that this project was going to happen, and some how the director pulled it off. Its going to be a ton of work, but getting to spend a few days in Germany with all of my cameras is going to be priceless.
