So I start shooting my first zombie movie Wednesday night. Ive been messing around with the whole cinematography thing for over 2 years, and Ive yet to shoot any horror movies. When the chance presented itself I jumped on it. I figured every beginning filmmaker has a couple of bad slasher flicks under their belt, so I might as well get one out of the way so I can get back to the serious films. Ill make sure to post production shots as the gore progresses.

Drop the Hammer:

So for those that have read my drivel, then you know my roommate sucks. Im seriously considering giving him the boot this week.

I needed his rent payment on Thursday. Thursday came and went without me seeing him. Friday morning I see him as I walk to the bathroom. I ask wheres my money? He says its here on the table, and walks out the door with packed bags, and slut #2 in tow. After I walk out of the bathroom I realize hes only left half of the money. Ok some money is better then no money. But that doesnt stop a check from bouncing.

He was gone the whole weekend, and I havent seen him yet.

To make things more fucked up, he called a friend of mine on Saturday to say his car got stolen from my place. And that his insurance was cutting him a fat check plus an extra 5 grand for his troubles Uhh, Ive dealt with plenty of insurance companies and Im calling bullshit. After a little asking around, all the facts are pointing to the car getting repossessed because he hasnt made a single payment.

I want to get rid of him desperately. But I cant realistically replace him with another roommate since Im leaving in three months. Im stuck in my lease for that duration, so Ill have to pay the full rent myself. Technically I can cover it, but it means my other bills wont be paid before I move, and I probably wont have any money saved for the move itself. No moving money means I cant start school next semester like Im supposed to.

So Im thinking I can keep him around just to milk what money I can out of him. Ill just have to put some money in savings for when he flakes.

Or I can say fuck it, and kick his lying ass to the curb and deal with the fact that Im going to be financially stressed, and most likely stuck in Sacto. for another 9 months.

My vengeful side is telling me to kick him out just for being a manipulative piece of shit. I really, really want to see his world of lies crumble down around him all at once.
