Haircuts suck

So Moirae needs a haircut. I really need to do something different with my hair, and Im tired of struggling with the guy that cuts it right now. Hes a nice guy, but despite my requests, I usually walk out of the place with something more akin to a nine year old little league kids hair. This leads to me spending way too much time in front of a mirror trying to make it look not so pedestrian.

Im already searching for a new stylist so hopefully I can find someone way more creative. But Im still not sure what I want to do with it from there. A female friend was pretty insistent on me growing it out longer. Long hair in the back is a serious faux pas in my book though. And I think the emo hair thing is way over done. Im seriously considering doing an 80s style flop, so I can keep the sides and back relatively short, while letting the rest get a little longer. Mom never let me have one when I was kid so that might be part of it too

Suggestions? I need something that doesnt scream cubical drone, or lame hipster.

Sketchy Sister

Last night my roommates sister and his ex came over. It's the second time I've met his sister, and it seemed that this time she really really wanted to hang out with me. The fact that my roommate instantly disappeared made this inevitable. I ended up getting stuck talking to her for almost two hours. She was trying her hardest to get me to flirt with her, but it wasnt working. The highlights of the conversation include her strategies for lying on resumes, and interviews to get jobs. How her ex-boy and her put holes through the wall with their bed frame. And my favorite. While discussing insomnia, I asked her what medication she was trying. Her response, Lithium.

She told her brother to give me her number after he walked them out, and then proceeded to call back an hour later to thank him, and tell me that Im really awesome Umm, Im definitely not staying home next time she comes over.
