There are angels in your angles
There's a low moon caught in your tangles
There's a ticking at the sill
There's a purr of a pigeon to break the still of day
So after calling in sick on Thursday I got my portfolio done for the semester.but with that out of the way, it was time to relax this weekend.
Cookie:
With a fridge full of quickly expiring food, I decided to do some serious cooking Friday and Saturday. Ramona and Kage dont seem to mind the food, and it frees up more space in the fridge for my film. Dinner was a Penne with Roasted asparagus in a Balsamic sauce. Sliced garlic and herb toasted ciabatta, and a little salad.
For breakfast we had Omelets with grilled salmon, basil, chives, and a little parmesan. Cornbread muffins. And potatoes sauted with flaked red peppers, basil and garlic. Yuummm..
I took the rest of my potatoes and made fat french-fry cuts. Wrapped them up in foil with butter, chopped garlic, parmesan, and tarragon. Took those to the SGSac. Barbecue in the afternoon and threw them on the grill.
Step off my grill dog:
SGSac BBq was pretty chill. Sat around with all the wonderful people, played a little kickball, and broke the neck off my Newcastle trying to be a tough guy.
As it got dark we decided to go visit Heterochromia who was having a big art gallery exhibit open. Someone had the bright idea of rolling into the gallery with the beatbox on my shoulder bumping NWA.. So I made it happen.
Fun was had by all as we bum rushed the show ala Straight outta Compton, and pilfered what was left of the wine and cheese. The art was wonderful, and the looks on the faces of the uptight hipster kids was classic. Heaven forbid anybody shows a little self expression in an art gallery.
Surfs up kitty:
Got up early Sunday, and drove down south to meet up with my boys and ride some pools. The most fun Ive had on my bike in a long time. Took two big falls from the top of a 10 footer, and somehow walked away relatively unscathed. Short of an unhealthy sunburn, and some aching muscles.
All around good weekend though.

That comment makes me snicker. There's a reason i try to go out in the evenings.

So, I was just watching Behind the Music about Pantera, and apparently the guy from the band that was murdered was buried in a Kiss casket. Should you leave us prematurely, I'm totally taking up a collection to buy that casket for you.
