Our dreams have all gone up on sale
on tomorrow's pages
and we paid for the cross and the nails
on tomorrow's pages
and we put on out prettiest face
and we wait for the news that we made
In my highwire days
I can see all the way
I see through the games you play
in my highwire days
Clockin Miles:
Spent the whole weekend out of town. A nice change, for once. Friday we went to the DeYoung museum in San Francisco. I was kind of excited since I got to see my first, Warhol, Arbus, and Avedon works.
We then met the founder of, and interviewed the Architect for the Burning Man festival. It was an interesting look at what goes on behind the scenes at such an enigmatic gathering. Immediately turned around and drove out the Black Rock desert in Nevada Saturday morning.
We had to shoot some scenes at the site for Burning Man. The Desert looked beautiful, but it was extremely cold, and after an hour of shooting I could not feel my fingers to work the cameras anymore.
The highlight was getting to shoot one of the crew running naked out into the middle of the desert with nothing on but a hat. Not something you see everyday
Thug Life:
Stopped to get gas last night, and had some homeboy try to shake me down for twenty bucks. He pulled up and blocked my car in, then demanded I give him $20, you know to help a brother out. He started getting more aggressive, and I started getting arrogant with him. It wasnt until the middle of the conversation that I realized I probably shouldnt be fucking with this guy, since the likelihood that he was packing was pretty high. For a fleeting second I had a disturbing Patrick Bateman vision of walking over and dropping the 20 spot into homeboys lap, then giving him 6 of steel to the throat blagh humans suck, myself included.
Chain Male:
Seven things to do before I die:
1-Shoot a theatrically released feature film.
2-Wander the back alleys of Venice, and sip wine at a caf in Florence.
3-Have a solo gallery showing
4-Learn to play the violin
5-Build all of my own furniture
6-Speak up
7-Finish my sleeves
Seven Things I Cannot Do:
1-Gain weight
2-Escape Karma
3-Quit eating sushi
4-Avoiding overdraft fees apparently
5-Go digital
6-Watch Clerks
7-Sleep on planes
Seven things that attract me to where I live
1-SF and the Sierras
2-Friends and Family
3-Silver Sake
4-Sadly not a lot that keeps me here, other then the wonderful people I love.
Seven things I say most often:
1-Whatever you want to make me (Ordering sushi at Silver Sake)
2-That dude fucking sucks
3-Crazy
4-Not very likely
5-Do you want to get some food?
6-Im sleepy
7-Sounds like a good plan
