So I'm back from the 5 day long trip to Vegas and the rockabilly weekender known as Viva. Fantastic as usual, with a few suprises along the road. Two ex's showed up sporting new engagement rings, that stopped me for a moment. Jenni got along famously with both of them!! Another Ex' showed up, ans We were not on speaking terms until Jenni interviened and then We all got along famously!! Another Ex', the bitch from New Mexico who still owes Me hundreds of bucks in a debt over two years old, entered the dance contest only to be booed out of the running by My friends, W/out Me lifting a finger! Oy vey, I'm really not that vinticive!!! I cain't spell either!
The bands were fantastic, with the two best acts seen by Me being the Extraordinaires from London, and Annita from Holland, who is a good friend who I've not seen for two years. She's had a son and a horrible car accident since we last danced together, she shattered a knee, broker her hip in two places, lacerated her torso, lost her spleen, cut up her face, all while four months with child. Here and now: she has a healthy seven month old boy, and is walking with a cane. She performed while seated down, but her voice was fantastic. We shopped, didn't gamble, didn't get ink, and this year, didn't by a hot rod! We were gooood little tourists!
It's good to be back home, but I'm glad there's more rockabilly parties this weekend!!!
