update:
My friend Mac, whom I had not had contact with for 27 years before
Sunday morning called again Sunday night, at midnight to ask for a place to sleep, but I was already asleep with Jenni, and niether of us heard the phone. I've called the elementary school We both went to in order to get a family address, and lo', the alumni feller is in AA as well! He gave Me Mac's family # in Colorado, & Florida. I'll call them later on today to let them know whats going on with their son, tho i think they've got a good idea. They may not care, the door might be closed on Mac with his family already, I mean, he was tore up, lips burned on the crack pipe... shit....
I'll call and see if anyone cares.

update: 6:30 p.m. I got his father in Steamboat Springs on the first try, and My worst fears about Mac's family were realized. The door is indeed closed on him by his family, they have washed their hands of him and don't care what happens anymore to him. Thats really shitty, but in a way, i understand. Fucking sucks, he's gonna die, what a fucking harsh lesson to be tought again to Me. My GOD I am blessed.
