Hello. I'm still here, still alive. Hurricanes be damned.
So, what's been going on in my world? Well, for starters I've been sick as a dog for the past week. The flu. Fevers, chills, every joint in my body aching like hell, and enough schpilkus in my gonnektechezoink to drown an elephant.
And let me tell you, being delirious from fever during two days of no electricity is not fun. Passed the plaque on to my sweetie too. She says I shouldn't have been breathing all over everything.
On the positive side, I get a lot of reading done when to power goes out. I've been thoroughly engrossed in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and spent all night finishing it off (literally all night - I haven't been to bed yet and its 9:13 a.m. now). Jumped right into book five after that.
On Monday we went to see Shuan of the Dead to escape the AC-less house. It's an awesome film. It's hilarious yet still disgustingly horriffic at times. Definitely go see it.
God, I've had such a craving for chocolate lately. Bring me some chocolate and I would so have your baby. And that's no small promise from a girl with no uterus or ovaries.
*EDIT* - Speaking of having babies, I've decided that I'm going to have Catherine Zeta Jones' baby. Sure there are some complications in that plan. She's married to that actor guy, and yeah she doesn't have any sperm and I don't have any eggs. But with a little pluck and determination, I think we can make it happen.
Also, happy 21st Bday to Mnislahi!!!!! Give her some love!

And this wouldn't be nearly as bad as it is if my passenger -- the guy I was doing a favor for, a guy I thought was a friend, a guy I work for at the university newspaper -- wouldn't have gotten a lawyer to complicate matters even more. WTF? (Lost wages? He's not losing anything at the paper and he can't deliver pizzas ANYWAY because his license is expired...)
