As for me, not much has happened the way I planned it to this weekend. We didn't go see Harry Potter yet. The throngs of pre-pubescent fans were enough of a deterant to keep us away for at least another week.
Instead I went to a super-dykie lesbian bar called Faces. I'd been there once before, but it was on a really dead night. Friday night it was packed because of Gay Days. Lesbians of every age & flavor. Danced to some old school hip hop (we're talking Young MC's Bust a Move). It's not easy to dance to that when you're used to Industrial.
Saturday me and my little urban tribe were going to hit Southern Nights (a local gay club), but I was too exhausted and canceled. Everybody else canceled too, so I guess I didn't miss much.
I was SUPPOSED to get my braces off today, but it will not be happening. I still owe the orthodontist quite a bit, which has to be paid before I get them off so I keep pushing it back. I'm just waiting on my tax return and it will all be taken care of.

Sounds like you had an eventful weekend even if things didn't turn out as planned. And hey, dancing to anything's not easy when you're not used to it. (Or something. I can't make that sentence sound right.
And BGII will be staying on the shelf. I found Icewind Dale II... now that's dangerous...
