For the first time, I have completed my Christmas shopping early. Usually I'm the last minute type but I thought this year I'm going to do it really early and just save up for the boxing day sales afterwards. I feel good about it because I got it out of the way before bills try to creep up on me.
Also I put myself down for the diversity lottery, which is okay... I won't find out anything until July next year and if I get it, I won't be able to get there until 2011 but at least it's something. Hell, I may just marry the poor woman (she has some delusion that I'm something great) but only if we could do it properly... Castle in Europe, 1700s clothing and giant jelly baby squirts. It may seem crazy but I've looked it up... it's not as expensive as you may think to hire out a castle.
I still want to travel the old silk road so in my imaginings I've come up with some cheap and safe options for the trip though I still would need some survival training.
