I'm so excited right now. As some may remember, it wasn't that long ago that a website I'm admin on held a Lita Ford contest where the winners received either an autographed vinyl of Wicked Wonderland or an autographed picture of Lita. We as admin stepped aside so that only our members could win the contest. What we weren't expecting was that the admin were all asked for their addresses as well. Lita has sent all of the admin autographed pictures as well as a promotional CD featuring 5 tracks from Wicked Wonderland autographed by not only her but also her husband, Jim Gillette formerly of the band Nitro. We have all also been informed that when she tours this next year, we get backstage passes and a meet and greet with Lita and Jim on a tour date near us. I'm also starting to look into interviews with bands I grew up listening to, and I'm practically guaranteed most of them. The one I'm most looking forward to if we can make it happen though will be thrash metal band, Exodus. I'm currently setting up for Faster Pussycat, Bulletboys, and Ron Keel though, with intentions of going after one of my all time personal favorites, Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P. which I think I will die if I can land the interview. As much as I hate the music business at times, I wouldn't leave it for anything.
