I'm in such a great mood that it is unreal!!! I have been talking to a band lately, and they had told me that they were going to send me a cd of theirs where they cover songs written when one of the members was in one of my favorite bands. It came in the mail today...along with 3 more of their cds. Why might I be excited by this? The person who I have been talking to is named Bobby Steele. To most the name probably means nothing at all, but to an old school punk rocker it means a lot, although other members of the band are better known. Bobby Steele was the original guitarist for a New Jersey horror punk band called the Misfits!!! The only members most know from the Misfits are Jerry Only and Glen Danzig, but Bobby Steele was a member as well. It's going to make my Halloween show epic!!! Now I will be able to play The Undead as well during the show.
