This last weekend was a busy one!!! It all started on Thursday when PunkNiteMike, KatieOkieDokie, and I went to Columbus for Havana. It was by far the biggest Havana yet, and among the best. I met so many amazing people, quite a few of which I've talked to in chat before. Among them and in no order, the amazing ravioli, who came all the way from Rhode Island. The always entertaining Ladybug and her roomie, HugZombie. The too sweet for her own good Suri. The newlyweds PixieDuzt and cPOP. The sultry sounding aaamy. Our roomie for the night varite. I was also introduced to Karma thanks to FaeFae. There were quite a few SG's that I'd met previously whom it was nice to see again, including Amina, Wendy, and Vivid.

A few of us had discussed lunch on Friday, but most were still sleeping at lunch time, although I won't mention any names. They all know who they are We did get to enjoy lunch at Skully's Rock & Roll Diner with Ravioli though. She and walked down the street to get her some smokes after lunch as well before we decided to come back home. All I can say is that she is just as great in person as she is in chat, and her accent is sexy

We decided to go back on Saturday to see SpaceLola and go to Skully's for an event. Aside from hanging out, the highlight of the night was seeing someone do a sorta suspension. The reason I call it a "sorta suspension" is because all they did was go zipping from the balcony to the stage while hooked up. A true suspension would have been if they had dropped the block and tackle and if he'd actually been up for more than the 10 seconds it took him. Yes, I'm anal about suspension. I don't believe in performing suspension for entertainment purposes. It is a sacred ritual to me, and not some freakshow act. I also had issues with seeing the person drinking a beer beforehand. As a former member of a suspension team, I still look at health and safety issues as well as the reasons for doing it.
