What a weekend!!! I got to the cinema on Friday, and realized that The Brave One had been released as well as Resident Evil: Extinction. I have an interest in seeing both movies, but could only see one since I was also intending to go out for a show afterwards. The decision was made easy thanks to CandyKydFairy, who brought me out some awesome Resident Evil: Extinction swag, a huge THANK YOU!!!!!), once she saw me debating between the two movies. She brought me out a tshirt and hat both advertising Extinction, which made me giddy as a schoolgirl. I admit it, I love the Resident Evil movies. I immediately put the hat on, and put the shirt on later. I opted to see Extinction which in it's own way merges two of my favorite movies into one, Mad Max and Dawn of the Dead. I hung out and talked to her for awhile after the movie, and there was this guy who she said is a regular, who is annoying as hell. I finally made it out for the show, and all I can say is that I love the local music scene!!! There are some extremely talented bands in the area, and the headlining band looked to me after the show for an opinion, which amounted to two thumbs up.

Then Saturday found myself, PunkNiteMike, and lone_figure heading for Dairy Queen. Once we had all gotten together, we decided to call KatieOkieDokie and invite her to join us. We then discussed going to see Resident Evil: Extinction with Pammy and TommyTwoTone who were coming up from Fairborn just to hang out and see the movie. PunkNiteMike decided he was too tired for a movie, and lone_figure had already told me that he hadn't planned on even leaving his apartment due to homework issues. I had taken him to the hospital last Sunday night, and he was way behind on what he needs to have done for class. Instead, we decided we would hang out with CandyKydFairy, and ended up being at the mall the entire time the movie was on. She also passed out the last few Superbad hats she had to all of us, and made sure Pammy and Jessie, TommyTwoTone's son, each got a Resident Evil: Extinction tshirt. Pammy and Tommy wanted to go to Dairy Queen, but I was hurting, Mike was tired, and Ed had homework, so we opted against it. Once we were in the parking lot however, KatieOkieDokie's cousin Brandy decided she wanted to go to Steak and Shake. I hadn't planned on going, but told lone_figure that we would go if he wanted to. I ended up messaging Mike to let him know that we would come out. After a trip to Ed's, we jumped on the interstate. We get maybe 1 mile from the entrance ramp, and notice 2 cars on the side of the road that sort of look like Katie and Brandy's cars. So we message Mike, and sure enough, Brandy broke down. Myself and Ed go ahead and jump off at the next exit and swing back around to make sure everything is ok, and that they aren't alone on the interstate. We get there, and one of Brandy's brothers is there, as is a towtruck. We stopped anyway, to make sure everything was ok, and I don't think Katie or Brandy ever expected that we would turn around to sit with them or check on them. I guess it shows that there are still some southern gentlemen left in the world. Anyway, Brandy went home with her brother, while Ed, Katie and I went on to Steak and Shake. We waited outside for PunkNiteMike for 10 minutes or so before we finally messaged him and found out that he had went home. We ate and had fun amongst ourselves. Although it made me miss having Avdity here in Ohio. She would have really had fun during our discussion about cherries.

I have spent my Sunday relaxing. It's a nice change of pace for once. I'm barely able to move though. My foot and ankle have been acting up to the point that I'm tempted to start eating painkillers. That's one habit I don't want to get into, as I fear what I may do if I were to start up. On a totally unrelated note, I'm starting to feel my age. I've had a couple of young ladies start flirting with me lately, but I don't think either of them are even 18 yet. It makes me feel really old sometimes.
