What an awesome weekend!!!! PunkNiteMike had been discussing going to a show Friday night, but we got our double dose Punk Nite posters in. So we spent Friday evening going around Dayton hanging posters and leaving flyers at our usual stops. As for Saturday, all I can say is that it was a helluva night. Mike was losing his voice, so I was elected to make a couple of announcements throughout the night. I generally don't do public speaking, but it actually felt good to get up on stage and do it. I spent most of the night sitting at our merch table. Among the merch I was responsible for are compilations from HussieSkunk.com. I think I was also one of the biggest supporters of one of our out of town bands, The Fallen. They were selling patches for 50 cents each, and I did buy quite a few. I had said that I didn't know what would happen first, a)I'd run out of room on my hoodie for patches or b)I'd run out of safety pins to put them on my hoodie. All I will say is that my hoodie doesn't have much room left for patches. There were a few SG members at the show as well. I can't remember everyone off the top of my head, as I didn't get to talk to many of them, but I do know that Tracylynn, TimberFaerie, and PhunkyBrewster made it out. Having my beautiful sweetie come up from Cincy made the night absolutely perfect for me, although it wasn't until the end of the night that we got to spend time together. I truly enjoy waking up to my beautiful sweetie lieing next to me. I could lay beside her and just look at her for hours. It was a busy weekend, but one of the best I've had in a long time.
