My weekend has been pretty boring, aside from Friday night at The Blue Cat. PunkNiteMike and I went to The Blue Cat for a show on Friday night. We saw TubRing, Halflife, Odious and Leroy play. Some of the bands were great, and others sucked ass. After listening to a small potion of their set, I understood why Halflife was giving away their demos. I enjoy some rap/metal bands, but they definitely will never be among them. Odious kicked ass though. I've been hearing a lot about them locally, and this was the first that I had actually heard them play. I didn't appreciate one person at the show running their mouth any more than the band did though. If you don't like the way a band sounds, then find something else to occupy your time than giving them a hard time. TubRing sounded good as well. Not quite what I'm used to, but interesting nonetheless.
