My week has been interesting. I attended a parade for local Olympic medalist Kristin King, on Wednesday, followed by a bit of a press conference at the local mall. Then on Friday and Saturday, I attended events where she was signing autographs. I wish that she were able to assist with another endeavor, but she has many other things going on in her life. I will say though that she is very down to earth, and hasn't allowed being in the Olympics change who she is as a person. For those who are southern, you will understand what I mean.
I also want to remind everyone that on March 18 there will be Punk Nite in Troy, OH featuring Legbone, Girlush Figure, Downtrodn, and The Bloody Irish Boys. Also in attendance will be members of the Gem City Rollergirls. The weekend of May 12-14 will also be the Hell City Tattoo convention. I hope to see some of my fellow members in attendance on Saturday the 13, as I will be attending that day.
