gabba gabba hey! 1st SG blog for me...sooo over myspace right now, so im going to be putting some QT in on my SG stuff....hot girls, cool kids, like minds...can't go wrong.
I am really shocked at how many awesome groups there are...i feel left out, not realizing how much this site really offers...
well to catch my new world up...
I have been in and out of the hospital since Jan 28th, battling my rare kidney disease, cystine uria. basically i metabolicly over-produce an amino-protein combo that makes gnarly kidney stones...this go round i had 2, 1 in each kidney, both which were sooo large they were causing me to go into repeated kidney failure. no good! i have had 25 preivous operations and passed hundreds of stones, but this time around, i was caught without insurance. no hospital would take me, at least without money upfront...which this battle so far has required 4 surgeries, with a 5th on monday....luckily after 3 months, I was able to get into my old hospital...my urologist is doing it all pro-bono and some charity organizations are coming forward to help. Lucky's Pub in wilmington put together the most awesome Punk, Hardcore, Ska, and Metal show as a fundraiser. 7 of the best local bands and 100+ plus people came out to help and celebrate me...def a morale booster.
so anyways, b/c of all this, ive had to give my way of life (bartending, skateboarding, rocking the fuck out...) and have been bed-ridden since january, constantly on pain meds and having to change my diet...but the end is near...even though im stuck with the disorder for the rest of my life, the 6 surgeries i will/have had will get me on a clean slate, and im going to start mutliple medicinal and dietary preventive meaures, so hopefully it will never get as bad...
but basically monday is the day my life will hopefully begin again. my blogs from then on out will be a true and authentic representation me...so till then..
