Also: I'm back at home for the moment. Who knows when the agency will call me back to work but a tleast for now I have time to spend with the baby.
Unfortunately now I have to decide whether I'm going to Arizona to take care of a friends kid who is being sent to Iraq. There seems to be no other option. The short story is that her husband is there already. She isn't enlisted in the military but commercially she works for the government and they're telling her they want her to go to a war zone. She called me drunk and upset, asking me to go to her new house in AZ and watch her 3 year old for who knows how long. Sigh.
Just when things get good... life comes and fucks it up.
