Let's say I sent you the "So you don't want to talk to me anymore?" note sarcastically and you took it as me being snippy with you, so you gave that same response: "I never said that, I'm hyper busy doing 2 sets of classes at once." The right way to respond to that would be more along the lines of... "oh sorry, if this isn't a good time to chat, I'll run off. drop me a note when a little bit of time opens up - I'd love to hang out again some time and take your mind off of class" but what he did was a fucking childish "you need to make me a priority" psycho/clingy move. So it's not "too harsh" given what preceded it.
