It's funny... Now that I'm away from my family, I'm emotionally closer to them. I talk with my mom and email her a lot and I visit my dad often (he works downtown). They come downtown on weekends to do things and sometimes I go with. I always get kinda sad after they leave because I miss them. It's gonna be harder when I get an apartment in about a year, too, because then I'll go home even less.

Which will mean I'll see my friends from home less, too. Kinda sucks. But that's part of growing up.

I think my eye has gotten a little better. Looks less swollen. Still kinda red. Itches a bit too. But in a weird, dry way.

I'm excited for Tuesday. I get to vote and I get paczki!

Oh, and I'm eating at Vivere for Valentines Day.
