So I have to admit, I'm kind of disappointed.
I spent from the end of October until right after Christmas orchestrating for 1000 paper cranes to be sent to the Decemberists, since one of them had been really ill. I received cranes from all over the globe and it took me a really long time to string them all. People even donated money to help me send them (it ended up costing 40 dollars to mail).
The package tracking said they were picked up on December 31st. I realize the band is probably busy, but they haven't even acknowledged that they received them. I got the address from Nate Query himself and I told him they were being sent, so they have to at least know that they're there.
I don't know. It's just frustrating to have made that effort and for it to not even be acknowledged.
