I've been kind of disappointed a lot lately. I'm hoping that changes during winter break and whatnot.
With finals coming up in 3 weeks, a lot is going to be going on.
I think that a big part of life is looking for authenticity in our existence. Especially now, in a world where we're surrounded by technology and other people pushing us into situations. If we didn't have a need for a fantasy life, we wouldn't watch TV. It's not uncommon now for people to take breaks from work because of exhaustion or just because they need to go out and find something that is theirs.
I'm most afraid of waking up at 35 and regretting everything. So, I really hope I find something that does have meaning. I think my parents are lucky, especially my dad, because they both love what they do, even in their 50's.

Being 36 now, I'd say, there's no way you can live life without regretting something. You'll choose, and your life will take shape based on those choices. You'll wonder but never know what those other choices might have brought. Be proud, strong, and live on the strength of your heart. You've got to learn to be okay with a life that isn't all perfect and good, because that life doesn't exist.

I have nothing positive or helpful to say about reaching your mid 30s and realizing that you have wasted your life
