I'm really excited for this weekend. My best friend is coming down from WIU and we're getting tattooed together.
At first we were gonna get them on the sternum, but now we're getting them on our lower abdomen (above the vag, but not too much higher than pants go, if even).
I miss her a lot, so I'm excited. It's kind of lame as far as "bro tats" go, but it actually does have symbolism and we've been friends for so long that I really want to do it, even if we drift apart. We're getting a design with scissors and a heart above it because when we were in like... 8th grade, maybe?, we decided to be "blood sisters". We both still have the scars from it. Haha.
It was funny, too, because we did it in an IHOP bathroom in the middle of winter and we both ended up bleeding all over the inside of our coats. We were/are goofy kids.
I'm also going home Friday afternoon so my mom and I can watch a movie together. And I get to see one of my close friends from high school who goes to COD. And then Saturday morning I get to see my godmother (who I almost never see) before I go get my tattoo.
It's a fun weekend.
Except I'm going to have ridiculous amounts of work to do and I can't put it off past Sunday because I also have to get everything done early Monday and Tuesday because I have a concert Tuesday night.
Busy, busy, busy.
I have a test in 50 minutes, so I better go shower and study. Wooo.

Sorry your mom needs surgery. If you can't make the Halloween party there will be plenty of others, and we will be more mindful abt chosing restaurants over bars to include 18-20's!
