My blogs have been pathetically un-entertaning. i need to get on that and get myself back into speaking.

I am currently in desperate need of a shower. not because it's been so long (only a couple of days) but because i took a walk with my mom, and the dogs, today. this little one:

can't walk very far, as his legs are approximately 4" long, so I had to carry him part of the way, and he had a fur explosion, of sorts, all over my sweaty chest. grossss.

last night i went with the parentals to see Leon Russell, Jonny Lang and Delbert McClinton. well, i wanted to see jonny lang. he was fucking. incredible. not my kind of concert (i.e. we sat in chairs and i watched a bunch of rich middle aged trophy wives get drunk with their disgusting husbands) but it was a good way to get out of the house. it made me realize why i dislike this place so much: it's nothing but image. sure, people are people wherever you go, but there's this undertone of "what are wearing to the concert?!" instead of "aren't you excited about the music?"
i wish everyone in midland would get some terrible skin disease that does nothing but make you look unattractive. no, not everyone. half of everyone. just to prove a point.
fuckers.
the concert would have been better if i hadnt had the cramps of the century. it was quite uncomfortable, the entire time. this was me, approximately 2 hours before said musicfest.

in case you havent heard (who hasn't?) about my obsession with Shiny Toy Guns, well, i'm obsessed. i've listened to the CD twice today. and i've only been awake four hours. i spend my days listening to music, reading a Confederacy of Dunces, drinking one of two things,

and missing my friends. it's joey's birthday today, and he called me at 2 am. now that's love. it's the third time someone has called me on THEIR birthday. it makes me feel pretty durn special. i miss those boys.

speaking of missing people, and birthdays, i may see the supercuteness that is my boy for his birthday. actually, i plan on MAKING it happen. rwar.

have i ever told you the crackhead story? it's one of my favorites.
One day, we had a cutezo party. The cutezo party got busted by an RA (not because of a complaint, but because they just "knew there was a party" probably because of the pinata hanging outside our door. sidenote:
i later punched said pinata during Crawfest:

anyway, the party got busted and we poured out the cutepunch. too bad we still had a handle and half of vodka. so we continued to get plastered, then piled approximately 18 people into the car (i got the front seat on this guys lap and a miller out of the deal)
and went to Le Bon Temps Roule to watch muzac. we arrived, and while waiting outside for everyone to mosey up to the bar, i was accosted by a middle aged crackhead woman wearing a dirty white tee and large men's jeans. she mumbled something i couldnt understand, as she lacked many teeth, then screamed "I'm so proud of you babies for graduating!" and proceeded to spin me around in an embrace. None of us graduated, but we just thought it best not to argue with her. I laughed it off, and then,
her: take this necklace. congratulations.
me: no, i cant take anything, that's fine.
her: (shows the necklace) come on baby!
me: (sees necklace) well, ok.
when she showed me this necklace, i couldn't say no. one of the charms was the Lucky13 emblem, that cat head thing, in glitter purple, while the other trinket was none other than:

a jesus/mary hologram. hard to photograph, but simply ridiculous. i love it greatly.
after that, the night didnt really matter. I couldn't top getting a two-year premature graduation gift from a crackhead.

so tomorrow at 3pm i am getting a portrait done with my best friend cassie. we were summoned by a photographer in the mall giving out specials and couldnt say no, as we had been talking about how sad she's going to be when i go to africa. it's gonna be hilarious, retarded, and fun.

other than missing everyone, wanting to meet Kovu, and wishing i had a photographer like khoos at my disposal, i'm just waiting to go continent-hopping.
