the french quarter is crrrrzy.
i met a man named Wilton Sharlston (i believe that was his name). he was an artist, and crazy middle aged man. he was wearing glasses with no lenses.

he talked about black men in new orleans for about 20 minutes while we waited for a cab with the sack of Krystal burgers my roommate bought. i had fries.
(after throwing a drink in the road) "you can buy a bunch of these, but you can only live one life"

i think i'm gonna get a job in the quarter and carpool with our new friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend for a few weeks this summer.
maybe i can pay off some loans?
maybe mom won't have to be in debt alongside me?
