Watched State of Grace for the first time last night. Good flick, great cast. I highly recommend it. Very John Wooerific climax. Seeing Gary Oldman in action again makes me even more excited to see him as Sirius Black next year. Fucking sweet casting, that.

Looks like its going to be a fierce battle between the forces of Good and Evil out there today to determine if its gonna be sunny and pleasant or cloudy and mirthless.

Either way, Im probably going to be hanging out down in my basement working on a den area for me and my compadres to kick back and relax in. The last place my friends and I had together had a fort in one of the rooms made out of mattresses and blankets and filled with pillows and foam pads and more blankets and colored lights and so on. It was great. Very comfy and intimate. I miss having a space like that that is designated for hanging out and being social. Our living room is focused on the TV for movie-watching, our office is focused on our computers for work, our bedrooms are focused on seduct- er... privacy and comfort, you get the picture. I love my house, but it was lacking a hang-out zone.

Soon it will be lacking no more.
