I had a real good time at Casa De Swank this weekend, but I think next time I'm going to have to rearrange my strategy. I started drinking heavily around 7:30, was pretty wasted by the time I actually got to the party at 10:30, and can barely remember walking Lenore back to her car at 12:30 and then passing out at my house which is like, a block away from Stewd's... I wish I had stumbled back, but once I sat down I couldn't get up. For some reason the house wouldn't stop spinning. Damn.
It was wonderful meeting the cadre of people I did at least have the wits to converse with for a few moments. I apologize if I was babbling incoherently, but I'd had a lot of gin.
So, since I passed out completely plotzed, I had a shitty hangover the next day, and so on and so forth. But it was all worth it. I look forward to next time and getting more of a chance to make a real fool of myself. Good stuff.
