I am so peculiarly unmotivated to find a new apartment that I might just live on the streets in my little motorhome for a while. Let myself get good and cold and miserable and lonely for a week or two to make me appreciate having a real place of residence.

Unless I just took off to go over to the desert. I love the desert in winter. No one is out there. It's as if everyone else has fallen off the face of the planet and it's just you and the dry cold wind. The air is so clear and the sky is so beautiful and bright at night... Damn. It's been too long! I have to remind myself that I'm lacking 4WD and can't just wander off wherever I might want.

Drat. The brainstorming is coming along well. Trying to think of some modest budget projects that my friends and I could feasibly get made in the not-too-distant future. It's hard to think small and unambitious in terms of scope. My imagination and sense of storytelling tends to be so steeped in the fantastical that I can't help letting things get larger than life sometimes. That's the challenge; satiating my desire to fulfill and create my fantasies while economizing and focusing on a good simple story/character.

So that's my rant for tonight.
