Things've been swell today. Talked to the girl in Japan for the first time since she left, which made me feel real good. Life in general has been noticeably lightened after that.
I finally got a phone card at Costco today. What a fucking great deal! 3.5 cents a minute, all day, any day, anywhere in the states! Costs a little more to call from a pay phone, but not much. My phone got disconnected while I was away on the film shoot, and now they want a large deposit to give me long distance, and they've blocked me from using any 10-10-636 prefix calls, or anything of that sort. I hate Qwest. The phone card is a better deal than anything else though, so I guess it has been a good lesson.
Back up to PDX tomorrow night for another day of shooting, then up to the Olympic Peninsula for two more days of shooting, and then I'm DONE! Yeehaw!!
