So I went to my first "gala" event last night! I feel like such a rock star. It was the opening night of the Seattle film festival and goddamn was it a good time. I wish I could afford to stay up there all weekend, but one night was a good start. I hadn't spent any time in Seattle since I was a wee little lad and I gotta say, from stumbling around the downtown on a weeknight, it's a pretty fucking cool city. I'm planning on being up there doing festival shenanigans for most of June 9 thru June 13, so I'll have to see if I can hook up with any of the Seattle posse for their bowling and karaoke festivities. I don't know any of that crew, but they seem like a smilin', stoked, hot-lookin', fire-spinnin' gang of merry-makers. I'm quite excited about it all, and the time ain't gonna go by quick enough to get me there, I can already tell. Patience, patience.

It was a hot sumbitch in PDX today. Lots of fun stuff going on this weekend, everyone's spirits are high and so are mine. Sounds like there's a party tonight with Linz and Mia, which is always trouble. A dress-up affair, no less. I gotta crash for a few hours and re-charge before I risk venturing forth though. Wish me luck!
