OK, so my girlfriend tells me she needs some space. She needs to take a step back and re-evaluate things. She tells me she loves me and in her heart believes that we will end up spending the rest of our lives together. She says she feels married now and in't ready to feel that way. I'm out of town a lot for the next two weeks so she wants to take this time and have some space. She tells me not to worry and that everything will be fine. I just have trouble doing that. Supposidley the more I worry, the more it pushes her away. Please, anyone, help me here. I need a females perspective on this

Well.. if course you're going to worry after she just dumped this news on you. Do your best to try NOT to freak out... I think in every long term relationship, there comes a point when they ask 'is this it?'. It sounds like she loves you... but also really wants some space... and that's exactly what you should give her. So, don't call unless she calls you first, and it's good that you're out of town so you can keep yourself occupied. It looks like she is being mature about this, and take some time back to reflect on the relationship and how you feel, and prepare yourself for whatever the outcome may be.
