well, my girlfriend is studying abroad north of London. it is crappy not being able to see her, but i feel it is a positive thing for our relationship.

we have been together for over a year and a half. and having to spend 4 months apart gives us each new perspective on everything.

even so, i would give anything for her to be back now... oh well. 66 days, 20 hours, 53 minutes and 9 seconds to go

yay camera phone! i'm still working on getting my own digital camera. i'm not a great photographer, but i'm a picture-taking nut. right now i use my boyfriend's camera, and i can't really take it out of the house. plus i have to upload all the pictures on his pc and then email them to my laptop to edit them. hassle. uhg.

be prepared to see over 40 saggy nakedness.....
my sis went last year, shw was not impressed, it was like paradise island and all.. but with hairy wrinkeledness everywhere...

i saved up a while to get there. it was amazing--the plane ticket's expensive, but being there is really cheap. i recommend it to anyone. i want to visit africa or mexico next....but it may be a while...

i;m from the US, but moved to the UK a few years ago. from there i went to france a few times--easy to get to, and scotland. then later, i flew to southeast asia and did cambodia and vietnam. if you book your flight far enough ahead of time, its somewhat affordable. and (though i hate to say it) flights are cheaper now, after the tsunami...
