Well my new house is finally starting to look like a home. There are still boxes around but that's because there is no storage space in the living room, sitting room, or kitchen. Which is funny because the bedrooms both have walk-in closets with crazy amounts of places to put stuff.
That's ok though because I won this

I paid $75 total for both on Ebay. Those two pieces of furniture, brand new, would easily cost $1500. Once I pick them up there will be no more boxes laying around. Plus I'll have two very nice pieces of furniture that will last forever. Bye bye particle board furniture of my youth.
I swear I havent stopped since last Saturday. We moved all weekend. Monday went shopping to get some stuff the house needed. Unpacked Tuesday and Wednesday. Last night we moved a couple more loads of stuff from the basement of the old house. Ive put up shelves, toilet paper rolls, done laundry, cleaned floors....the list goes on.
The lovely Peggy has promised me a rock star party this weekend and I have no doubt that she will deliver the goods. I am going to drink as many beers as it takes to equal the number of boxes I have unpacked. I should be intoxicated by night's end.

Arete's new set is fucking amazing. Ive felt guilty for having a favorite up there with only one set. But that one is just so good I could never take her down. Yesterday, though I finally get #2. I don't envy many people but I envy her. She has the most perfect body I have ever seen and it makes me crazy in so many ways.

OH MAN! That furniture is beautiful! I Love Ebay! You can get all sorts of cool ass stuff on there for hardly anything at all! We just sold two laptops on ebay the other day though and made a goodly amount of money too..YAY for Ebay!
I was watching HGTv last night and I am all in the mood to do some cool stuff to furniture. It was the Design on a Dime show. I think that's my favorite HGTv show. It's just amazing what they can do with $1,000! I'm really wanting to transform our garage into a 4th bedroom...and I was going to move our oldest out there. She has our old furniture so she really needs more space...and I was thinking about stripping and re-finishing it. Right now it's cherrywood...I was thinking about staining it a darker color...like an almost, but not quite black mohogany or something like that..change out the handles and knobs with something cool...then I wanted to do something different to the tops with either something like glitter or something she collects and pouring resin on top of it, or fitting glass to the tops and sliding pictures and things like that underneath it...it would be coolio...I'd also like to get a cheap table for our outside patio and do the resin thing...maybe with some tiles underneath or something like that...anyway...I'm in a creative mood...I've been sewing a lot here lately too...and I have my own little work space! It's so neato!
