Tonight my hubby and I went out to see Savion Glover, the tap dancer. I got him tickets as a present because he's been really wanting to see him live for a long time. I'm a good wife.
It was really awesome! This guy is amazing. Wow! He just moves his feet in ways that shouldn't even be possible and so fast it's amazing. He tapped for about an hour and a half. Who has that kind of stamina? He was So sweaty. I'm glad I wasn't in the first row.
On top of that, when I bought tickets the best available were the cheapest ones so I thought the seats were going to be terrible but when we got seated we were in the fourth row from the stage. I couldn't believe it! I even asked the seating lady if she was sure she was right.
Here's a pic from my camera phone, which sucks, but you can see how close we were.
The best thing ever happened on the way home. We were driving down a two lane highway and were about to enter this town called Kilbuck. Kilbuck is well known because they don't pay taxes. To pay for the town's needs, they have cops out 24/7 who ticket ppl speeding all day long. That's all they do. So everyone knows not to speed through this stretch of highway.
So we're driving, right before this town and Solo sees a cop at a crossroad and it's a Kilbuck cop so he says 'I need to watch my speed cause that cop made a right and is behind us" We are in the left lane and there's a truck tailgating us. The cop is in the right hand lane. My husband is getting really pissed and says, "I'm gonna get this guy pulled over." So he puts his turn signal on, gets in the right hand lane and stays at the speed limit. What do ya know, the truck speeds up to about 10 over the speed limit, the cop pulls into the left hand lane, passes us to get right behind him and throws his lights on!! It doesn't get any better than that.

And the party was sooooo much fun. I feel bad I didn't get to say anything to Dave. He was kind of shy I assume. Seemed nice though. And Travis and Angel seemed kick ass, especially Travis but I only got to talk to him for a few minutes. He needs an SG account!
That's cool that Travis and Mike are still friends after all that. Major maturity there, ya know? And I understand about the shyness. I used to be that way so bad.
