Posting this here, and on my website, as, although we originally were planning this one to be on Facebook, this model now has a boyfriend that wouldn't feel comfortable enough for her to have it there.  I think I need to find some more models that are comfortable with how beautiful they are, and showing it off, whether it be in their underwear, swimsuit, or implied and nudity.

After being away from taking pictures for a little while so I could get caught up on editing, it felt good to be back behind the camera this weekend.  I got the chance to shoot with two of my more regular models at the studio.

Another one of the events I made it to recently was the Lost Girls Burlesque show in Vancouver on Halloween night.  I had managed to save up enough money to upgrade my camera body, so I now can shoot in low light situations like this without using flash.  I still would like to save up to get a super fast lens, but that may take a little while.  Did a pretty good job with the show, and ended up with just over 60 shots that I was happy with editing first.  May still have a few more that I may edit later.

Hard to believe it has been more than a month since I have been online, but been sick for a bit, and then had computer problems.  It took a bit to get all caught up after getting a new computer, but now I am, so here is one of the pictures I took at the modeling workshop a few weeks back.

Becoming one of my favorite poses.  Actually going to a model's posing workshop this weekend to listen in and pick up some tips on working with models when choosing poses for their photos.  It sounds like if all the models show up, there will be about 3 models for each photographer to work with after the first part of the day where we all are listening and getting hand outs on posing.  The second half of the day will be to work with models and try some of the posing, and then check them out later to see what worked and what didn't.

I have been doing so many outdoor shoots this summer, that I haven't done any shots like this.  Just a piece of the beauty of a woman's body, relaxed and naked.  Better get on that soon.

I am putting together a calendar for myself this year, and this is one of the pictures I may use for it.  @cattleya hasn't even seen this one yet, as it was a paid shoot I did for the calendar in mind.  I didn't end up getting enough shoots done so all of them were unseen ones.  It will be a collection of my favorite shots from this year, and the tail end of last year.  Already starting on next year's choices.

Halloween brings out all the costumes, but I think I should have a photo shoot every month or so with a costume involved just to have some fun.

I got a new camera a few weeks back, and have been trying to get back to the level I had with the old one, as I learn the setting differences.  After only a few photo shoots, I think I have already started getting shots that are better than the old camera.  This image was from an amazing shoot for the whole afternoon.
