There are a few areas for where I live that are go to places when doing outdoor shoots, like this creek, but finding new places to explore and shoot at can add new things and ideas.

I started practicing with my new camera yesterday.  I shall have to see the results as soon as I get a new cable to get the photos on to the computer.

This image sat locked away for a year and a half without getting edited or even looked at again, as I wasn't happy with it when I first took the picture.  But now, as my editing style has changed, and the way I look at pictures has changed, I decided it did look nice enough to get an edit. 

You never know where you might find your next inspiration for shoots.  I lucked out by chatting with this model at her job one day, and finding out she sometimes does live modeling for drawing classes at the local university.  I asked if she had thought about modeling for a photographer.  And the rest is history.  We are currently working on a third shoot for her, which will involve a costume for Halloween.  I have loved both of her sets so far.

When you get a cancellation, that usually means you end up going home with nothing, but on this day I put up a message saying I was available, and one of my models sent her friend in for this shoot.  I was lucky to have someone that liked my shooting enough to help me out.

Mostly caught up on all my shoots this weekend, which is perfect, as I purchased a new camera body.  Now to organize some more shoots so I can test it out.

Had some fun on the first workshop I had ever done over 3 years ago.

I like to look back at old photos to see where I started, but also do new edits to them with the things I have learned over the past few years.  This way you will get to see where I have come from as well.

Although, I tend to focus quite a few shots on the head and shoulders, a nice pair of legs in a dress or shorts can also be very nice to look at through the lens.

The "accidental" reveal can be so sexy.

I met this girl about a year and a half ago for a promotional shoot and then a fashion show, but until this past weekend, I had never done a photo shoot with her.  Very interesting shoot, although, we didn't take very many photos, it was more for the conversation, as she is interested in doing more photos, but also in assisting with makeup for other models, especially for one of the halloween shoots I have been talking to one model about doing.

Almost all caught up on all the new shoots I did over the last couple weeks.  Now to organize new shoots with the ones that want to shoot again.  My wife tells me there are lots of interesting masks at a local store, so will be heading down there, and seeing which ones bring up ideas for future shoots.
