I'm attaching some pics of my weekend holiday in Newport. I love love love being so close to the beach. I enjoy living by the mountains but it is so comforting to know that the Pacific is only a few hours away. I'm just so amazed by this state. Even though my job hunt is lasting much longer than I wanted it to I am not regretting the decision to pack up a move a thousand miles. Part of me misses Wyoming because that's where I lived my whole life up until a month ago. But I have to say a much much larger part of me is soooo happy because it feels like Oregon is a place that I actually WANT to call my home, not just a place I HAVE to call my home.
