Well, well, well. Try this one on for size. My whole damn life got flip-turned upside down and I suddenly find myself in Omaha, NE. Dont worry, only for the night, but Im still here. Yee ha!
So, heres how it went down: I had a pretty rough week a few weeks ago. Really rough, actually. I didnt go in to work on Tues or Wed of that week. Thursday sucked as always, then I went in on Friday. When I came back from lunch, I got fired. First time ever that Ive been fired, but its definitely for the best. I got some sweet severance pay, not to mention continued insurance.
I decided to pack up and move to the Virgin Islands. Too much snowy, cloudy cold in Wisconsin and I need a beach. Well, that wasnt in the cards either. An old friend called me up and said that they needed someone to manage a promotional tour for the next year. Big money, cash paid per diem, and, since I decided to pretty much drop everything and blow town, I wont have any expenses. For the next 11 months Ill be gallivanting around the country showing off the best in Digital Imaging. Yeah, real excitingyou know what, though? The events are going to be cake, Im going to make a ton of bread, and when its all over Im going to live on an island. Not a bad deal.
Well, even though nobody ever reads this, Im going to capture what I can on the site. Who knows, maybe Ill run into someone while Im out there.
Were on our way to Vegas, so Ill be checking out the Double Down when Im there. Its a lot of fun, and pretty bad ass people watching. Dont forget the ass juice!
