I'd like to take a minute to rant.

The word real is to be used to differentiate between fake and authentic. If there is no fake, then the word real should not be used.

Be a Real Man.

Are there any fake men around? Are you calling men wimpy, overaged boys, or are they not macho enough?

For Real Girls.

Again, what makes a girl fake? Do fake girls become fake women? Do they have fake problems and fake talents?

Real nerds are cool but those fake nerds are annoying.

Really? How in the fucking hell do you fake being a nerd? Everyone who knows more than the average person about at least one thing is a nerd in that regard. You can't fake that. You would have to be 100% averagely knowledgeable in every aspect just to be able to say you are completely generalist.

But back to the word itself. For the love of god people, it takes a specific kind of jackass to use the word that way to draw some fucking superficial line in the sand and make it so that one person is less.


On lighter front, here's the first few of pages from Weakling. I'm doing black and grey tones on the environments and select color later on. I'm hand lettering the book, which is fun, but god damn is the whole thing a punch in the dick.
