So I was watching the VGA awards last night.

I loved The Phantom Pain trailer. It was a really different kind of game. You start out as a guy in a hospital and you can't even move. No real sense of gameplay but towards the end of it you can see odd things. Like burning people, monsters, and giant fucking whales. I looked up Moby Dick studios. I'd never heard of it but I'd never heard of Rocksteady (well, I knew about the firefighter game they did but who thought Arkham Asylum would be that good a game?) so I'm looking forward to more information.

And now I have mixed emotions. I mean, I still haven't beaten guns of the patriots. Snake Eater was the best one for my money. I was looking forward to a new IP. But it's the FUCKING FOX ENGINE! I HEARD RUMORS ABOUT THIS. BETWEEN THE FINAL FANTASY NEW ENGINE AND UNREAL whatever the fuck number, and the FOX. I can't wait for the next generation of games.

I hope the Wii U can handle these things because I'd be pissed at Nintendo if we just built a machine that can't handle new games.
