and I'm spent
The last 2 hours I spent on a bicycle at 50mph rocketing across the farm fields of the Michigan-Ohio border with a tempest on my heels. She was a crafty storm, changing heading at will - but I had her fierce winds at my back and as I passed shocked motorists I looked over my shoulder, saw the lightning, wiped the drool and pedaled harder.
They were the last two hours of the Memorial 260. The two hundred and sixty miles I decided to do this weekend to whip myself back into shape after all this slacking. They are complete, and my ass hurts.
Seeing as for most of you cycling is ranked somewhere between Puerto Rican snail wresling and sober fishing as far as excitment is concerned, I threw together some figures that might give 260miles a little perspective.

, and to answer your question... when you're on the bike for 5 hours, you have time to think about a bunch of stuff you're going to write in your SG blog when you get back. Five hours of time to be exact.
